This book by the BBC Today programme presenter is well worth a read, particulary for students about to launch themselves in to the world of work. I'm going to include it on my reading list for First Year Reporting and Writing.
Mishal Husain writes about her own career and addresses the obstacles faced by women in journalism while offering her take on the skills you need to succeed. The book has many tips for journalists - and people in other fields - about how to make your mark, build your authority and navigate newsrooms or other workplaces.
